Way back in mid-March, which now seems like a lifetime ago, I decided I needed a new practice to help me stay calm. I set an intention to focus on gratitude. Everyday I tried to address something I usually ignore or even resent. As the days went on, I started sharing my posts with friends and family and then on Facebook. I got a lot of feedback about how these daily acknowledgements of the ordinary blessings in life helped others maintain some equilibrium as we were all being rocked in the storm of the pandemic.
